- FORT BEND COUNTY FAIR ASSOCIATION RELEASE OF LIABILITY and INDEMNITY AGREEMENT, PHOTO CONSENT WAIVER (Upload signed WAIVERS when you complete this “online form”).

- Entries can be either by parent or school but must be registered.
- Exceptional Rodeo will pair children (ages 3 to 12, living in Fort Bend County) with intellectual, developmental and/or physical disabilities, with professional cowboys, cowgirls & volunteers to help assist in fun and non-competitive rodeo activities.
- Classes may register as a field trip subject to availability per size of class, but several school districts are off for holiday on this date – Oct 4th.
- Space is limited and may fill up before the deadline, so don’t delay.
- Siblings without special needs are welcome to be spectators; however, they may not participate – No Exceptions. If you have more than one child with special needs, please complete a separate application for each child.

WHO: Kids, 3 to 12, Fort Bend County residents, with intellectual, developmental and/or physical disabilities.
WHAT: Exceptional Rodeo is sponsored by the Fort Bend County Fair Association’s Exceptional Rodeo Committee.
WHEN: Friday, October 4, 2024 starting promptly at: 10:00 am
WHERE: O.D. Tucker Rodeo Arena at the Fort Bend County Fairgrounds
Highway 36 South off Hwy 59 South in Rosenberg, TX
Each participating child may receive one or more of the following items:
Official Rodeo Number • Stick Horse • Cowboy Hat • Trophy • Bandana • Souvenir Photo
Kids perform rodeo-like activities: stick-horse course, horseback riding, bronco barrel riding, roping and a trick rider.
Lunch provided by McDonald’s of Rosenberg and awards are presented at the end of event.

Parking: Park in the “Blue” parking lot or the lot adjacent to Tucker rodeo arena. Golf carts available to assist
families to arena if needed. Follow the signs.

9:15AM: Check in for Children with sensory issues.
9:30AM to 9:45AM: Arrival & Check In Children & Young adults check in & get partnered with a Volunteer
9:45 – 10:00am: Get to know your partners & line up for grand entry
10am: Grand Entry: Led by Texas DPS Mounted Patrol & Professional Trick Rider

- Barrel Racing Station
- Pole Bending Station
- Pet the Goat Station
- Horseback Riding Station
- Bucking Bronc/Bull Station
- Souvenir Photo Station
Each participant and their volunteer helpers will begin at assigned station and go through all stations.
11:45: Awards Ceremony & Group picture
Everyone involved is
invited to be in the picture.
Clear the arena of all kids/youth
Lunch Provided: McDonald’s meal & water
Performances by: Professional Trick Rider & Rodeo Clowns
Closing
Seating available in the stands
Additional Information: Water available.
Please pack your own lunch if a meal from McDonald’ is not adequate for your child’s diet.
